Happy 3rd Birthday - Freddie baby!

Freddie's birthday had been the main talk for weeks, presents, grandparents, cake, day out. So when it FINALLY came he didn't quite believe it was here! He denied it was his birthday until he went downstairs and saw this! He then said "it really IS my birthday!"

Meet the Grandparents

My parents were over visiting us from the UK a couple of weeks ago to celebrate Freddie's 3rd birthday with us, so I took the opportunity to take lots and lots and LOTS of pictures while I had the chance. It was great to be able to take pictures of people who could stand still, take direction and actually want to be photographed!

My Boy

Freddie turned 3 the day before I took this photo. He ran outside while I had my camera to hand and literally gave me just enough time to capture this one and only shot.

I adore his wispy blonde hair and sparkly eyes.

Whatever the year ahead has in store for you I am sure we'll have a good one...I love you...my three year old boy!

My Two Favourite Boys

Finally my husband, Alan let me take a solo picture of him, he gave me less than 2 minutes of his "precious" time but thankfully I managed to get this one of him that I absolutely love!

And here's a new favourite of Freddie being bashful...

Digging out an old favourite

I took this picture earlier this year on my old camera. Loved it at the time but it was missing something. This evening I was bored and wanted to play at editing but had no new photos to use.
I dug this one out and with a few minor adjustments and some cropping it turned into this. I love it :)

Water Phobia Abolished

This is my 15 month old daughter Bella at the local pool. This is most definitely her favourite place of the summer, she was never interested in water before, she wouldn't even sit down in the bathtub without persuasion and even then it was only for a couple of seconds! But now she just loves it so much, she doesn't mind being splashed at all and she even slides down the froggy water slide all by herself. I just love this picture of her stepping out of the water, she looks like she is such a big girl now.

Studio Style

Last week I had lots of fun setting up my living room as a mini photography studio and photographing my children. I was very pleased with the results I managed to achieve this way. I have definitely caught the "studio" session bug. I am now dreaming of owning real backdrops, lighting and a backdrop stand!!! Maybe one day eh?!
