Freddie in Action

My favorite picture from June would have to be this in action shot of my almost 3 year old Freddie running down our driveway. I have a really hard time photographing him normally as he is always on the move but this one time it's perfect that he was. I love the expression on his face and his hair blowing with the speed. I am so pleased to have captured that wonderful smile :)

Touch of Whimsy

I thought this picture I took of Bella when she was 8 months old would be perfect for the I heart faces challenge this week. Oh how much they grow in such a short space of time! 

Thankfully we will have the images captured of their journey's forever. I truly love photographs!!!

Determination

When I found out the theme for this weeks I heart faces challenge is "Bright and vivid", I immediately thought of this colourful image I took of my 14 month old daughter a few weeks ago. I love the bright green, long grass that she is having trouble navigating...I love how she is carefully watching where she's stepping...and best of all I love how her oversized pink hat isn't helping her in the challenge. But I really admire how she still manages to take it all in her stride with just a little concentration.

I just love these two practice shots. Freddie's wrinkled scrunched up nose cracks me up and Bella has perfected the deer in the headlights look :)

Happy Due Date!

I had the pleasure of photographing Jenn yesterday morning! Her baby is due today so hopefully she won't be waiting too much longer to cuddle her baby. Here are just a few images I have had time to edit so far, more will follow soon.

From a Distance

Freddie has a real "thing" for balancing at the moment. His favourite place to practice (other than on the balance beam at his gymnastics class) is now our front wall.

Expressions

After buying a new blanket  I decided to do a quick "shoot" with my kids to see how it looked as a background! I ran them upstairs and put a tie that I'd been saving for a special occasion on Freddie, and  a pretty dress on Bella that my Nan had sent us.
I love seeing all the different expressions on their faces! So so cheesy but they make me laugh :)

Mamma/Daughter matching Crocs

Bella has recently grown into the bargain pink mary-jane crocs I bought her in their smallest size available. She wears hers everyday and I wear mine...just for these photos, lol!
