Silly Face

Bella's silly face is most definitely my best face photo from May. At first I was so disappointed that she refused to smile for me but now I laugh every time I see it!

Update: I am SO excited! This photo has made it into the next round - YIPPEE!

Sleeping Beauty

The lighting was just beautiful the evening I took this...I was cleaning up after dinner and noticed the trees at the end of the garden glowing green in the suns light!
The sun was just setting and it was slightly drizzling with rain. It was a photo opportunity not to miss! I took Freddie outside in search of a possible rainbow and captured this!

This is how it turned out straight of the camera, no editing at all. All my studying must be starting to pay off!

While he was still...

He was relaxing, watching TV, the only time he ever sits still...well as still as he is going to get anyway! I saw it as an opportunity to practice some focus shots, focusing in on his eyelashes I got this shot - Love it!

Rainy Day

We spotted a deer at the back of our garden, first time we had seen one so close. So I got the raincoats and wellies on the kids and we went to investigate. Bella had to wear Freddie's raincoat as I couldn't find hers but it worked out well as when inevitably she sat down on the wet grass it covered over her bum - phew!

The first one has been entered onto the I heart faces "Yellow" challenge.

The Kiss had absolutely no prompting or instruction from me!! Freddie just decided to do it, Bella was a little shocked.

Picnic by the Stream

Last week we went to a nearby park and stayed so long it was almost lunchtime, luckily I had made some sandwiches just incase so we set up a little picnic by the stream, I love moments like this.

Bleeding Hearts

We have only just moved to the States from England, which means I keep noticing new things that I'm not familiar with.
Out in our front garden yard last week I spotted these gorgeous heart shaped flowers, I love them.
Oh and that's Bella in the background unintentionally wearing a matching top - hehe!

Meet my Family

A couple of weeks ago I decided to get my young family on our bed and set the camera to timer mode. These are what was captured. I love having my whole family together in these, and all having so much fun. When we were packing up my son was begging us to do more.
